We Have No Jobs.
We face many problems in society today but one of the main causes i feel that is extremely important is Unemployment this have led people to foreclosure, homeless, bankrupt and cant afford bills and you end up with big debt. So the big question here is What is the affect of being jobless or unemployed have on family's, job benefits, Communities,
Families -"The burden of unemployment can also affect outcomes for children. The stress and depressive symptoms associated with job loss can negatively affect parenting practices such as increasing punitive and arbitrary punishment (McLoyd, 1998). As a result, children report more distress and depressive symptoms. Depression in children and adolescents is linked to multiple negative outcomes, including academic problems, substance abuse, high-risk sexual behavior, physical health problems, impaired social relationships and increased risk of suicide"
Job Benefits-The end of long-term unemployment benefits this month means millions of unemployed Americans could be left without their sole(under surface) source of income while they look for work. In 2013 alone, the federal aid program sent more than $25.6 billion flowing into unemployed workers' pockets and fixing up states' struggling economies.
Communities-
unemployment in neighborhoods reduces resources, which may result in insufficient and low-quality housing, underfunded schools, restricted access to services and public transportation, and limited opportunities for employment, making it more difficult for people to return to work.
